Men's gold-plated or white gold rings set with cubic zirconia: signet ring, band, wide ring. Size guide, styling and care tips.
A men's ring is seen in every gesture—a handshake, grabbing a glass, holding a steering wheel. It is the most looked-at piece of men's jewelry, and paradoxically the one most often bought blindly, missing the size by a point or two. This page brings together Emir ICE models in yellow and white gold-plated men's rings, set with zircons.
A clarification at the outset, as it is rarely made elsewhere: the stones in these rings are zircons, synthetic stones cut to replicate a fire similar to that of a diamond. They are neither diamonds nor natural precious stones. And gold-plated refers to a layer of gold deposited on a base metal: it is not solid gold, and we never present it as such. If you are looking for real stones, our lab-grown diamond ring selection offers synthetic diamonds, which are chemically identical to mined diamonds but are not natural diamonds.
Men's ring size is measured by finger circumference, expressed in millimeters. Common men's sizes range from 58 to 68, with a peak around 62-64. The reliable method involves three steps: wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark the point where it overlaps, and measure the resulting length with a ruler. This figure in millimeters is your size.
Two classic traps. The first: measuring in the morning. Fingers swell throughout the day and in warm weather—measure in the late afternoon for a representative result. The second: forgetting the knuckle. If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, choose the size that slides over the knuckle, not the one that fits the base. A ring that is 8 mm wide or more usually requires a half-size larger than a thin band: the larger the contact surface, the tighter the ring feels.
The men's signet ring is the oldest and most codified form: a wide top, traditionally worn on the pinky of the non-dominant hand. It holds engravings well and is meant to be passed down. Our models are grouped in the men's signet ring collection.
A solid band, without a top or protruding stone. This is the most versatile model: it works in the office or in the evening, won't snag on anything, and stacks well with a second ring. Choose this if it is your first ring.
Set with zircons over the entire surface or on a central band, these models fall into the luxury men's ring category: they catch the light and are visible from a distance. They require an uncluttered hand—one ring only, no overly busy watch next to it.
Western convention assigns a meaning to each finger: left ring finger for commitment, pinky for a signet ring, index for assertion, middle finger for a neutral decorative piece. These codes are no longer binding, but they are still understood—it is worth knowing them before deciding to deviate from them.
Two rings on the same hand work provided they are separated by at least one finger and you keep the same metal color. Three becomes difficult to manage without looking like a costume. And if you are already wearing a gold chain or bracelet, align the tones: yellow gold with yellow gold, white gold men's ring with white gold.
Gold plating wears down through friction, and a ring rubs against things more than any other piece of jewelry. Take it off for sports, cleaning, DIY, and swimming—chlorine and household products attack the gold layer much faster than time does. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove sweat, and store the ring alone in a pouch: contact with other jewelry scratches the plating. Never submerge it in an ultrasonic bath meant for solid gold.
