On a letter J pendant, size is the factor that most significantly changes the look. A one-inch J remains discreet under an open collar; a three-inch J becomes the centerpiece of an outfit.

The metal can be chosen regardless of the size: a gold letter pendant in 10, 14, or 18 karat, or the 925 sterling silver version for a more accessible silver letter pendant. The white, yellow, or rose gold finish is selected afterward.
The chain is not included, leaving you free to compose your own set. Since the bail is integrated into the J, it connects directly to a pendant chain without the need for an intermediate ring. Two rules are enough.
The chain link should support the pendant without stealing the show:

Natural diamonds are mined from the earth and then cut. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, cultivated via CVD or HPHT: same hardness, same fire, with a traceable origin and a softer price for the same carat weight.
