On a number 8 pendant, the size is the criteria that most changes the overall look. A 1-inch 8 remains discreet under an open collar; a 3-inch 8 becomes the centerpiece of an outfit.

The metal is chosen independently of the size: 10, 14, or 18k gold for a men's diamond pendant meant to last, or solid 925 sterling silver for a more accessible first piece. Regarding the finish, a white gold diamond pendant plays the card of cool contrast, while yellow and rose gold warm up the pavé.
The chain is not included, allowing you to compose the set freely. As the bail is integrated into the 8, it receives a pendant chain directly without an intermediate jump ring. Two rules are enough.
The chain must support the pendant without stealing the spotlight:

Yes. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, cultivated via CVD or HPHT: same hardness, same fire, traceable origin, and a friendlier price for an equal carat weight. It is neither moissanite nor cubic zirconia, which are stones of a completely different nature. The same silhouette is available in natural diamond.
