Moneybagg Yo is having one of his biggest years to date, with his album Reset dropping earlier this month. MoneyBagg teamed up with GQ to showcase his jewelry collection. Memphis rapper Moneybagg recently showed us his collection of iced-out hip hop jewelry.
He may be wearing iced-out chains and jewelry today, but that wasn't always the case. "I ain't even gonna lie, I used to wear fake jewelry when I was coming up," he says. Moneybagg rocks six rings at a time, a necklace resembling Michael Myers', and much more; he is always iced out.

Stacking rings requires knowing your exact finger size, finger by finger. A ring that is too loose will spin and show its design on the side; a ring that is too tight becomes impossible to remove at the end of the day.
The rest of his wardrobe follows this logic of density: several chains, a pendant with a striking design, and an ensemble that reads as a block rather than as isolated pieces.
He also mentions having worn costume jewelry when he started out. This is a useful piece of information: style doesn't depend on price, it depends on the consistency of the proportions.

The most common pitfall: buying all your rings in the same size. The result is always the same — some spin, others get stuck.

The width of the band isn't just about appearance. It changes the comfort, durability, and maintenance.
A thin ring, from 2 to 4 mm, can be worn continuously and is easy to stack. It also deforms more quickly if crushed in a pocket or caught in a car door.
A wide ring, 8 mm and up, holds up better and supports generous stone pavé. In exchange, it limits finger flexion and gets in the way when typing or driving.
For a successful stack, mix both: a wide piece as an anchor point, and two or three thin bands around it. It is this contrast that gives the impression of a collection rather than a set.
A ring is the most exposed jewelry in your wardrobe. Unlike a chain protected by clothing, it takes on shocks, friction, and household products.
The first rule of thumb is to remove it for high-risk tasks: strength sports, DIY, housework. It is not the metal that suffers first, but the prongs holding the stones.
