The chains of the Stage Collection

The chain is the piece that builds a silhouette. In the Stage Collection, chains are designed for the stage, music videos, photo shoots and events: wide Cuban links, set tennis chains, rope chains, coffee bean, Gucci link or curb chains. Visually strong pieces, in gold plating and zirconia, that catch the light and stay readable on camera.

Choosing your chain

The link

The Cuban link, round and tight, is the boldest. The tennis chain lines stones along its whole length and shines with every movement. Rope and coffee bean links give a finer effect that is easy to layer.

The width

The width, given in millimetres on each product page, decides how present the chain is. A wide link can be seen from afar, on stage as on video; a fine link goes with a pendant or is worn layered.

The length

As a general rule, a short chain sits near the base of the neck, a medium chain falls below the collarbones and a long chain hangs on the chest, often with a pendant. Our chain length guide helps you choose.

The materials

Gold plating

A gold-plated piece is covered with a thin layer of gold over another metal. It gives the colour of gold for occasional wear and differs from solid gold, which is gold all the way through.

Zirconia

Zirconia is a colourless, very brilliant synthetic stone that imitates the sparkle of diamond. It allows generous pavé settings and spectacular pieces.

Wearing a stage chain well

• Think about distance: on stage, favour volume and shine.
• Match the chain to the outfit: a very detailed garment calls for a clean chain, a simple outfit can take a strong piece.
• Check the clasp: a secure clasp avoids unpleasant surprises when you move.

Caring for your jewellery

A plated or fashion piece is worn for a moment and then put away with care. Avoid contact with water, perfume, creams and sweat, which can dull the surface. Wipe it with a soft cloth after each wear and store it away from the air, in a pouch or a box. All our advice is gathered in our jewellery care guide.
