The metal is chosen independently of the size: an 18k gold letter pendant (or 10k/14k), or the solid 925 sterling silver version for a more accessible silver letter pendant. The white, yellow, or rose gold finish is selected afterwards.
Which chain should you pair with this letter O pendant?
The chain is not included, allowing you to compose the set freely. Since the bail is integrated into the O, it accepts a pendant chain directly without an intermediate ring. Two rules are enough.
The width rule
The chain must support the pendant without stealing the show:
- 1 to 1.5-inch pendant: fine chain of 2 to 4 mm.
- 2-inch pendant: 4 to 7 mm chain.
- 2.5 to 3-inch pendant: 8 mm chain or larger, such as a Cuban link.
The length rule
A 50 cm (20 inch) chain positions the pendant below the collarbone, a 55 cm (22 inch) at the hollow of the sternum, and a 60 cm (24 inch) in the middle of the chest. The larger the pendant, the better it sits when worn lower. See Emir ICE chains and Cuban chains.

Maintenance
Use a soft, dry cloth after each wear; give it an occasional bath in lukewarm soapy water, use a soft brush on the back of the setting, and dry completely. Put your jewelry on last, after applying perfume, and take it off before swimming.

No. The pendant is delivered alone in its box, with the bail integrated. The chain is chosen separately, allowing you to adjust the length and width to the chosen pendant size.
Is a lab-grown diamond a real diamond?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond, cultivated using CVD or HPHT: same hardness, same fire, a traceable origin, and a friendlier price for the same carat weight. It is neither moissanite nor cubic zirconia, which are stones of a completely different nature. The same design is available in natural diamond.
Which size for a first initial?
The 1.5-inch size satisfies most people: present enough for a photo, sober enough for daily wear. Move up to 2 inches if you already wear a thick chain. All initials are available in the initial letter pendant collection.
